What happens during a porta potty service visit?
A porta potty service visit takes about 10 minutes per unit. The technician pumps the waste tank, scrubs the seat, urinal, floor and walls, adds fresh deodorizer and water to the tank, and restocks toilet paper and sanitizer. Units with sinks get fresh water, soap and paper towels.
- Pump the holding tank into the truck.
- Pressure-rinse and scrub surfaces; remove any trash.
- Recharge the tank with blue deodorizer and water.
- Restock two rolls of paper and refill sanitizer or sink supplies.
- Check the door latch, vent and level, and log the visit.
How often does a porta potty need service?
A porta potty on a job site or long-term rental needs service once a week when up to 10 people use it. A unit shared by 11 to 20 people, or used heavily in Turlock's July and August heat, needs service twice a week. Event units arrive clean and are serviced at pickup.
Summer highs in Turlock often reach the upper 90s and pass 100°F. Heat speeds bacteria and odor, so we suggest shade and an extra visit for busy units in summer.
What if my unit needs cleaning before the next visit?
If a unit needs cleaning before its next scheduled visit, call or text and we will add a visit on the next route through your area, often the same or next day. Overflow, vandalism or a tipped unit is handled as a priority call.
Signs you need more service: paper runs out before the visit, the tank looks more than three-quarters full, or crews complain about odor by midweek.

Is weekly cleaning included in the price?
Weekly cleaning is included in the 28-day rental rate. Each visit pumps, cleans and restocks the unit. Extra visits beyond weekly are quoted per visit.
Does an event unit get cleaned during my party?
Event units arrive clean and fully stocked and are serviced at pickup. For multi-day events and festivals, ask for a mid-event service visit.
What day will the driver come each week?
The service day usually matches the weekday of delivery. If you need a set day, such as before a Saturday market, ask and we will match it to a route.
Can you service porta potties I own?
Pump-out service for customer-owned units can be scheduled on route days. Call with the number of units, location and how often they need pumping.
