What makes a deluxe unit different from a standard one?

A deluxe flushing porta potty adds a foot-pump flush and a foot-pump sink with soap and paper towels to the standard layout. A deluxe unit carries its own fresh-water tank, so the deluxe unit needs no hose or power. The flush rinses the bowl, so guests do not look down into the tank.

A common question: "Can you see the waste?" In a standard unit you can. In a deluxe unit the flush clears the bowl, which is why event hosts choose it for family parties.

The trade-off: fresh water runs out before the waste tank fills. For more than about 60 guests, add a second unit or a hand-washing station outside.

Measurements are typical for the unit class we stock and vary a little by manufacturer. Ask for the exact model on your order if a tight gate or slab matters.

When is a deluxe unit worth it over a standard one?

A deluxe unit is worth it when guests eat with their hands, when older relatives or kids attend, or when the host wants one unit instead of two. A deluxe unit usually costs less than a standard unit plus a separate hand-washing station. A deluxe unit is not built for heavy job-site use.

What does the deluxe flushing porta potty look like?

The deluxe flushing unit looks like a standard unit outside but has a cleaner interior. Each deluxe unit has a seat with a foot-pump flush, a small sink with soap and paper towels, a mirror and a roof vent. These photos show the actual units we rent, not stock images.

Deluxe flushing unit questions

Do I need to hook up a hose for the sink?

A hose is not needed. The deluxe unit has its own fresh-water tank that we fill before delivery. Soap and paper towels are stocked. Water is refilled at each service visit on longer rentals.

Is the flush like a home toilet?

The flush is a foot pedal that rinses the bowl with blue fresh water. Waste still goes into a holding tank under the seat. It feels much cleaner than a standard unit, but it is not connected to a sewer.

How many guests can one deluxe unit handle?

One deluxe unit handles about 50 guests for a 4-hour party. Past that, the fresh water may run low before the end. For 60 to 100 guests, rent two units or add a standard unit.

Can I get a deluxe unit for a weekend job?

A deluxe unit can go to a short home project, such as a bathroom remodel. On a long construction rental, the sink and flush need more frequent service, so a standard unit plus a hand-wash station is usually the better buy.
